The TuneRite makes the 'TUNE' button on your radio do much more for you especially when using non-Icom ATUs/antennas. It plugs into the back of your radio and when your radios tune button is pressed, your transceiver generates 10W output on CW for around 8 - 10 seconds. It will not tune your antenna you will have to either have an ATU or resonant antenna plugged in but it will enable you to use non-Icom ATUs with the same ease of operation. After the 8 - 10 second period, the radio reverts to its previous operating mode.
To turn the TuneRite off and to prevent the radio from entering tune mode with each band change, simply press the Tune button twice, quickly. To turn it back on, just press the button once.
The TuneRite makes the 'AT' button on your radio do much more for you. It plugs into the back of your radio and when your radios 'AT' button is pressed, the transceiver generates 10W output on CW with a steady carrier. After 45 seconds the tune function will automatically stop anyway. If you need more time, just press the 'AT' button again.
