This compact 12V power supply is ideal for a wide range of portable applications and can also offer long-term illumination. At the heart of the unit is the 4Ah cell which is sealed. A microprocessor circuit monitors the the voltage and battery condition and this is displayed by LEDs. Two cigar sockets are used to provide the main 12V output and these are fitted with protected covers. There are also three supplementary outputs of 3V, 6V and 9V with 1 Amp maximum capability. The main switch selects operation or charge mode with a central off position. A built-in cartridge fuse is used to protect the battery and a standard car-type fuse is used to limit the maximum output to no more thai 15 Amps (12 Amps recommended). On the rear face there is a large lens (120 x 50mm) to provide illumination with a separate switch. Both a carry handle and a carry shoulder strap are provided.
