The AM-DX1 is equipped with a high-sensitivity ceramic microphone element. This has excellent durability and high sensitive with a wide dynamic range. The frequency characteristic peaks at around 2k for better DX communications. Also incorporated is an anti-vibration design which reduces the mechanical noise coming from the microphone body and as such is quieter than most desktop microphones. The mic. is powered from two AA batteries or it can be powered from the rig through the mic. cable within the range of 5 to 9V DC, min. 20mA.

The Adonis AM-508GBL is a high quality electret condenser microphone with built-in compressor amplifier.There are two fixed levels of compression High (45db) and Low (35dB). It is also equipped with a FM/SSB audio quality selector switch for optimum operation. There is an 'on air' indicator which lights up continuously when transmitting and flashes in the receive condition. The Up/Down switches can be used with transceivers that support them.

The Adonis AM-708E is a high quality desktop electret condenser microphone with built-in compressor amplifier. Up to two transceivers can be operated from the AM-708E by simply operating a slide switch. It is also equipped with a FM/SSB audio quality selector switch for optimum operation. There are two fixed levels of compression High (45db) and Low (35dB) plus a Manual position, where a compressor level volume control is activated. There is an 'on air' indicator which lights up continuously when transmitting. The analogue meter acts as a battery checker and output level meter. Time out timer (2 to 3 minutes) with time reset function, when activated de-keys the transceiver and alarm sounds for up to 30 seconds (can be disabled).
A professional large diaphragm condenser microphone of superb vocal quality. The microphone produces an exceptionally flat response for natural voice sounds. The use of a 1in diameter pressure gradient capsule offers a high level of output whilst the cardioid pattern offers between 15 - 20dB of rejection from the rear. This is ideal for rejecting linear and power supply fan noise whilst enabling the operator to speak a little distance from the microphone rather than close speaking which is normally required for dynamic microphones. Gold plated XLR connections ensure low resistance noise free connections. To further reduce unwanted transmitted vibrations, the B-1 is supplied with a dynamic shock mount in addition to the foam wind shield to cut down breath noise. The microphone requires a 48V phantom DC supply which is automatically supplied via the XLR sockets on the adjacent UB-802A.
